A computer hardware engineer is involved in the development of computer hardware in a variety of ways. For a career in computer hardware engineering, a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree is usually required. A strong background in math and computer programming, as well as numerous engineering courses, are all required. Development, production, logic, and problem-solving courses will also be required.
