Can Humans Live 150 Years?

Some scientists believe that the first person to live to 150 years old in modern times probably has been born already. Biomedical gerontologist Aubrey De Grey has stated that there’s a 50/50 chance that humans will soon have the same level of control over aging as over most infectious diseases through therapies called preventative geriatrics. As part of these therapies, people would regularly receive gene therapy and immune system stimulation, among other things. As of 2011, about three months was being added to the average human lifespan every year.
