Contractors in the telecommunications industry must interact with clients on a regular basis. He or she is usually in charge of discussing the project’s original specifications, reviewing the client’s needs, and quoting. A telecommunications contractor’s ability to properly quote prices that are appealing to clients while also providing sufficient profit to the firm is critical and a large part of what they do. Important skills include the ability to work well with a diverse group of people, solve problems quickly, and share information and experience with colleagues.
